Q1). What is your scientific background?

A1). I am a biologist. My background is in the biology/ecology of pathogenic organisms. I was a partner in two pathogen diagnostic development/manufacturing companies in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s and  a consultant to industry for related concerns. In earlier years, I worked in hospital labs, Pathology and did some teaching. I have been a field and logistics manager for scientific field expeditions and spent a couple of years as a producer for nationally syndicated talk radio hosts and in particular science based talk radio.
